The schools, children and the cast are having an awesome time as we launched our new show this month. We started the tour with 2 days of workshops and shows in Paynesville and Donald; the latter also adding an adults-only evening show for the entire local community, of which hilarity was the common theme!
Cinderella is also a favourite for those schools that are looking for ways to not only have a magical and full theatrical experience, but also a show that is packed with some really lovely universal truths and special ways to create amazing embedded learnings in not only the children but all who experience the event. This is great as more and more focus is placed upon values education - it makes justifying an Alpha incursion very, very easy. We've received some of the most significant positive feedback for Cinderella since we started doing shows 3 years ago, due to the values integration and the positive buzz of energy that is created in each school community.
Hercules (reserved for schools who have had us 4 times or more) or another Alpha show has been rebooked on the day by almost every school so far. Make sure you don't miss out - if you want Alpha again next year please book all shows for 2007 now or on the day of your show. Also a reminder - in order to have an Alpha Show you must confirm with a booking deposit, please contact us if you haven't done this for a 2006 show yet as competition for dates is fierce!
For your chance to see Cinderella again or for the first time with your family, make sure you check out the touring schedule below for dates. Note that we are NOT at Federation Square this time so find the venue that is closest to you and book tickets today.
Dates that aren't listed are private events, at venues like Mornington School Holiday program (20th June), Bendigo YMCA (22nd June), Alexander Theatre - Monash Vacation Care (28th June), Footscray YMCA (29th June) and Ballarat YMCA (30th June). If you live near one of them make sure your child is booked in for the respective holiday program on that day and perhaps you could come and experience the show as well.

Now more challenging for older year levels
The 3/4 and 5/6 worksheets for both shows are now more challenging and really focus in on the values learnings that you can create after a show. We really encourage teachers to follow up with your students after a show to really condition in the values and ideas in the shows - our job is to get them in a peak state, integrate the values in the shows and follow up with more distinctions during question time.
