 Fun4Kids Festival!
If there were still any doubt about the quality, professionalism and hysteria we create wherever we go with our shows, the experience at Warrnambool's Fun4Kids Festival easily shattered any such ideas! We performed our smash hit pantomime musical of 'Beauty and the Beast' on two days of the festival. The host during his introduction noted to the crowd that he had never seen the theatre at full capacity since the festival had begun! In fact, the staff had to TURN AWAY 400 disappointed people because the theatre could only hold 600! With similar challenges on the second day, we agreed with the event organiser that when we bring 'Sleeping Beauty' to the festival next year, we appear for more than two days! We even made it on the front page of The Standard in Warrnambool, after the first day we performed there!

The most interesting thing for you is that we do not normally focus on doing these huge events - whilst it is clear we can pull crowds of thousands - what we love best is to bring the same outstanding level of professional theatre right to you - to schools, theatres and communities. It is remarkable that we have been able to do this and still be GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY even for schools on the smallish side.
If you run a theatre - you might be understandably now very interested in bringing Alpha to you to help create the same level of demand for tickets in your theatre!

ATP Forums
So far we have only been using the forums for internal staff use and for when children write to the characters...but I envisage and hope that it can be a great place in the future for teachers and other passionate people to discuss the magic and importance of quality theatre in education, as well as a place for Actors to hang out. So if you have a pioneering spirit, go ahead and register at the ATP Forums! |

School Holidays - Hunchback of Notre Dame
Many people have already been wanting to know about Hunchback of Notre Dame in the September school holidays. If you are from a child care centre or holiday program etc... give us a call on 1300 850 658 as the great thing about September is that we ALREADY HAVE A FULL TOUR of Hunchback running. We have two other YMCA's already booked for the September school holidays, so as long as you can be flexible, I would rather come and do a show at your venue for a discounted rate than lots of 'ticketed shows' for the public and various 'bus-in groups'. We will still do one or two public shows, one being at Langwarrin - towards the end of the holidays, so stay tuned, we'll announce dates soon.
