Alpha Cam is a feature in the Alpha Shows App to take real pictures with our Characters! When you first open, you’ll just see your view through the camera, with a ‘Select Character’ button:
Hit ‘Select Character’ and you’ll be presented with the Character Selector:
Not all our Characters are available. Some have full bodies so work well, but if you want to take a pic with some characters they might only short torso upwards, so make sure you zoom in. Here’s Pegasus:
Tap the character to add a magical effect, move with your finger, and pinch to zoom to change the size. You won’t see a black screen, you’ll see whatever you are pointing your camera at. Take the picture with the blue shutter button. The reset button next to it will reset the character’s position, as it will otherwise try to stay fixed in space wherever you place it. Hit the ‘trash’ button to remove the character and select a new one.

Choose Your Character
Tap “Select Character” to browse through our lineup of available Alpha Shows characters. Some will appear full-body, while others might only be from the torso up—so zoom and position them however you like for the best shot!

• Drag to position your character in the perfect spot.
• Pinch to zoom in or out for the best size.
• Tap the character to add magical effects that bring them to life!
• The reset button keeps things easy, returning the character to their original position if needed.
