Alpha Shows provides rigorous and challenging professional touring performance work in a fun and stimulating environment to play and perform for thousands of children across Australia! Touring involves early mornings, setting up and packing down a full set, lighting and sound equipment every day and lots of travel away from home. We’re looking for committed, reliable, hard-working performers who can work well in a team on and off stage.
This website has been created to assist you in becoming familiar with Alpha Shows from the perspective of an actor/performer interested in working with us to help create Australia’s most entertaining, intense and life changing theatre for young people.

We therefore cast for a great variety of roles, from principal roles in classic fairytales & myths; as well as comedy roles, villains and character roles.
Even though Alpha is not a huge company, we provide a great working environment for all our actors and a chance to perform in music theatre style productions that are the highest quality in Australia!
